Fix an Incorrect System Clock

Fix failed trades caused by an incorrect device clock by enabling automatic date and time syncing on macOS or Windows.

If trades keep failing, your computer’s clock may be out of sync with the network. Even a difference of a few minutes can make signed requests appear invalid and cause trades to fail.

Follow the steps below to automatically sync your date and time.

1. macOS: Turn On Automatic Date and Time

  1. Open the Apple menu and go to System Settings → General → Date & Time.

  2. Turn on Set time and date automatically.

  3. If it is already enabled, turn it off and back on to force a fresh sync.

2. Windows: Turn On Automatic Date and Time

  1. Right-click the clock in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

  2. Select Adjust date and time.

  3. Turn on Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically.

  4. Click Sync now and confirm that the sync was successful.
